Our Values
Prosper
One of the fundamentals of Zaada Academy is for the success of all our students. Zaada is an Arabic name that means prosperous; increasing in goodness. Also linguistically, the word Zaada is derived from a root word in Arabic, meaning to increase. We value the growth of our students not only academically but ensuring we drive students in reaching their fullest potential. It is important that we nurture all aspects of our students’ development such as academic success, emotional and social wellbeing and confidence.
Mastery
Mastery is a pedagogy technique that involves students developing a deep understanding of concepts. Knowledge is a foundation for understanding. One can be competent in a specific field however mastery comes with essential skills such as consistency, patience and expertise. At Zaada Academy, we want our students to develop strong subject knowledge and be able to gain a wider understanding on concepts, whatever the subject. Mastery is not something that comes easy, consistency and practice are both on the pathway to achieve this.
Teamwork
The US Formula 1 team Haas suffered a disaster during the 2018 Melbourne race. Racers Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean both suffered a loose wheel after pit stops. An average pit stop takes around 2.5 seconds with at least 20 members working on tasks. Although human error is inevitable, the incident with Haas was a result of a mistake by one member which ultimately led to retiring race. Education is no different. Learning is a team effort between the students and teachers, both working together to achieve the best outcomes.
“My lord, Increase me in Knowledge.”
